Children’s book illustrations for The Irrelevant Project and Varsha Varghese. The brief from the client was to ensure body positivity remains central to the illustrations as it is not only primary to the book's theme but also their vision as publishers. Having experienced bullying and constant body shaming myself over the years, I tried to bring in the experience of feeling that humiliation into the visuals while also listening to Mohit's feelings and state of mind. The idea was to not only highlight the visible but to present a tangible experience of feelings that tend to typically be invisible.
