As a socially anxious queer person the internet has been a gateway to finding a community in ways I never could have imagined. So illustrating this guide for Instagram was a wonderful way to contribute to highlighting some of Instagram’s new safety and security features, as well as resources for the community compiled by The Queer Muslim Project.
I worked with a limited colour palette and tried to capture some of the voices from India’s queer community who are often left behind.
