Client: Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) | Role: Illustration
GAATW is a network of non-governmental organisations from all regions of the world, who share a deep concern for those whose human rights have been violated by the criminal practice of human trafficking. They use a human rights based approach to address these issues. They defend the rights and safety of all migrants and their families against the threats of an increasingly globalised and informal labour market.
5 years ago, I worked with GAATW to create a banner to commemorate their 25th anniversary. They returned for an updated banner to celebrate 30 years! The idea was to capture their work and advocacy using a combination of illustration and text embedded within them. We also created visual assets for social media posts with the final illustration.
