Sangath and It’s Ok To Talk wanted their 2017 - 2019 annual report to not only be a summary of their engagements, but also a real reflection of their journey. It was important to visually represent the youth they work with and highlight the mental health stories that have been shared by them.
Borrowing from their work, I penned down some key words to act as a guiding force: youth, activism, action, expression through art, social media campaigns. Equipped with this, I worked on creating a fresh colour palette to represent the last two years and kept a hand drawn sketchy feel for the illustrations.
The cover features type created specially for the annual report borrowing elements and motifs from the illustrations used across the publication.
