Design for Mental Health was an immersive 3-day arts and new media residency hosting 10 selected artists from India to learn and work intensively together. The residency was hosted by an Indian mental health NGO Sangath, in collaboration with human-centered consultancy Quicksand Studio, supported by the Wellcome Trust.
As one of the 10 selected artists, I not only had the chance to participate in the residency, but also attend and take visual notes for talks by creative technologist Akshat Nauriyal, teacher and multimedia artist Tarun Balani, and psychiatrist and founder of Sangath, Vikram Patel.
