As part of the Global Feminist Pitch by the Global Unit for Feminism and Gender Democracy at Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, along with a cohort of 6 other illustrators from across the world, I worked on creating a short graphic novel unfurling and reflecting on some of the seeds of the intersections of the disability justice and feminism in India.
The comic follows my personal journey and reflections on finding the articulation of disability justice, care and community. Further, it explores a few special and key moments across feminist and disability justice movements in India, some of the ongoing conversations in the space and our dreams for the future.
The comic was first published by Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in 2023.
